Location: Ohio Union, Center for Belonging and Social Change, Alonso Family Room
Join the Center for Belonging and Social Change for our weekly Community Connections!
Community Connections offers a space for personal introspection, reflection, and growth. Our goals are creating community within and across groups, fostering collective dialogue, developing leadership, and building skills for lifelong learning to further Ohio State's mission of Education for Citizenship. Community Connections also focuses on developing well-being and self-efficacy skills, ensuring you are equipped to succeed as a student and beyond. Each week, we cover a different topic or activity.
These meetings are designed to be safe, secure, and free from judgment and rejection, allowing you to bring your current self without reservation. It is a time for students to voice their experiences, advocate for their communities, and feel supported and accepted.
Community Connections meets on Tuesdays during Spring semester in the Center for Belonging and Social Change (located on the 1st floor of the Ohio Union).
We encourage folks to come every week, but you are welcome to drop in whenever you can!
