Service is part of Ohio State’s mission, and we know it is important to you as well. We are writing to personally invite you to a special service event to help feed those who are experiencing food insecurity in our state. This is the official OUAB Grad/Prof  invite! 

 

The BE KIND food packing event will take place on Wednesday, September 11, with two sessions for you to choose from. Both will be in the Tom W. Davis Gym at the RPAC (337 Annie and John Glenn Avenue). 
 

You have the choice of two sessions: 

Session 1: 1-3 p.m. (12:30 p.m. check in. The project will start promptly at 1)  

Session 2: 6-8 p.m. (5:30 p.m. check in. The project will start promptly at 6)  

 

Hundreds of volunteers will gather at the RPAC to pack over 350,000 meals during these two sessions through Pack Shack: a crazy-fun, high-energy, high impact feed-the-funnel party! Join students, staff, athletes, employees, alumni, fans and families to pay forward and participate in this great act of kindness. This will be our largest project to date!  

 

Every year we pick different counties to deliver food. This year we have selected Adams, Brown, Highland, Hamilton and Montgomery counties. We will also deliver to several places in Franklin County.
