Wellness Wednesdays is a personal enrichment and workshop series featuring a wellness topic to create and promote awareness and providing education around healthy living. Topics covered in these sessions align with the ten dimensions of wellness, outlined by the Student Life Wellness Center. This is a lunch and learn session. Lunch will be provided.
There are two primary messages about technology in our society. 1. Technology is the solution to all our problems, or 2. Technology is the reason for all our problems. Instead of focusing on extremes, we’ll teach you a values-driven approach to apply to your tech habits and show you features on your personal devices that you can use to set boundaries. By the end of the session, you’ll be empowered and prepared to use technology in creative and productive ways for academics and in your personal life.
Presenter: Anna Hohmeier, Educational Technologist, Office of Distance Education and eLearning
