Advocates for Trauma-Informed Care invites you to attend this seminar in-person or via Zoom on how healthcare providers can provide the best trauma-informed care to members of the Deaf community.
This event will feature community resource DWAVE (Deaf World Against Violence Everywhere).
DWAVE will talk about unique challenges Deaf people face in a hearing world and what you can do to help. Then a survivor speaker will talk about their experience with healthcare and what support they wish they would have received from providers.
