Ordering with Grubhub
The Office of Student Life Dining Services in partnership with Grubhub is providing pre-order pick up from dining locations.
Be sure to download Grubhub from the App Store or Google Play to order food that will be ready when you stop by to pick it up.
For future orders via a robot delivery concern, you can call our support line (888) 814-1560 for urgent assistance.
If you are an assistive technology user or require an accommodation to use the mobile app for ordering food, please contact us via dining@osu.edu or 614-247-9194 or 614-247-9195. We are working with our provider to enhance the app to be more accessible.
Using Grubhub Campus at The Ohio State University
Tips
- Always verify your contact information, order selections, pickup location, delivery address and payment method before placing your order
- Under Order Instructions, before you reach the checkout screen, add notes for your order, including allergies, dietary restrictions, special requests, etc.
- For food robot delivery, select from the list of suggested campus buildings to ensure your robot delivery will arrive at the correct drop-off point. Check for the graduation cap icon to the left of the building name.
- Make a deposit to Dining Dollars or BuckID Cash by tapping “Add money” in the GrubHub app or go online to buckid.osu.edu
Home Screen Information
- Toggle between OSU Dining and Off-campus dining options
- View your available campus card balance
- Choose between Pickup or Delivery
- View your delivery address (Always verify your delivery address before placing an order)
- Sort by “Recommended” or “Fastest”
- See a dining location’s status: open or closed
- See estimated prep and pickup times and the number of people “in line” (in the order queue) for each location
Place a Pick-up Order
- When placing an order, first select a location
- Look at the estimated pickup time
- Select items and add to the bag
- Add notes for your order, including allergies, dietary restrictions, special requests, etc.
- View your order and continue to checkout
- Confirm your contact information
- Always verify the payment method and all order selections, modifications, and prices before placing an order
- Place your pickup order
- Track your order from start to finish. Monitor “Real-time line updates” to view your position in the queue
Place a Delivery Order
- At the top, toggle service type to Delivery
- View available robot delivery locations
- Be sure to select from the list of suggested buildings to ensure your robot delivery will arrive to the correct drop-off point. Check for the Graduation Cap icon
- Check the estimated delivery time
- Add notes for your order, including allergies, dietary restrictions, special requests, etc.
- Check the order selections, modifications and prices before placing an order
- Continue to checkout
- Check your location information and expected pickup time
- Confirm your contact information
- Verify your payment method and delivery fee
- Select the payment method for the delivery fee
- Place your delivery order
Track Your Delivery Order
- See the estimated delivery time
- Track your robot once your delivery is on its way. You can follow in real-time using the map
- Once your order has arrived at your location, open the robot from your phone
- Check the robot ID number. This should match the ID number on the robot
- Confirm that you have picked up the order or request more time
Contact Grubhub Help Customer Service
- Open the GrubHub app, select an order and tap “Need help with your order”
- Tap “Report order issue”
- Follow the prompts to describe the issue
